Joanne Blickensderfer has been in the insurance industry since 1973.
She started jmr Insurance Services in 1994. Her business branched out
to include bookkeeping services in 1995. Originally, these services
were directed toward insurance-related companies, but since most industries
utilize QuickBooks and Quicken, our company was able to accommodate other
industries as well.
In addition to providing our services to the insurance industry, our other

Schools of Music
Other miscellaneous businesses
We have been assisting our clients with California Surplus Lines filings for over 7 years. Our TAG percentage is very low (usually less than 5% of the filings submitted to the Surplus Lines Association).
Ms. Blickensderfer holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, the industry's most respected professional designation. She is a current member of the CPCU Society, a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.
She is also a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, an institute which certifies bookkeepers who meet high national standards of accounting professionalism.
In addition, she is currently working on her Certified Bookkeeping (CB) credential.
